Artifact Details Question

This feature is only available to users with organizer access. If you don’t have access yet, please refer to Organizer Access for instructions on how to obtain it.

Process Overview

1. Access the Interface

   • Click the Artifact Details Question button to open the question management interface.

2. Choose Your Method

   You have three options:

   2.1. Upload Configuration File

   • Click the Upload button and select your JSON or YAML file.

   • To download a template for the correct format, click the Download Template button.

   2.2. Import Existing Questions

   • Click Import from System to reuse questions already in the system.

   2.3. Create New Questions

   • Click + Add New Question to create questions from scratch.

3. Configure Question

   When creating or editing a question, fill in the following fields on the left side:

   • Active: Check to make the question visible to users.

   • Required: Check to make the question mandatory.

   • Name: Unique identifier for this question in the system.

   • Question: The actual question text displayed to users.

   • Title: Label shown in artifact detail when generating the PDF.

   • Type: Input format - text entry, dropdown selection, or radio buttons.

   • Placeholder: Example text shown in empty fields to guide users.

   • Source: Origin or category of this question.

   • Resource Type: Applies to Data, Software, RDMC, or General resources.

   The right side shows a live preview of the question (display only, no editing).

4. Add More Questions

   • Click + Add New Question to continue adding questions.

   • Repeat the configuration process as needed.

5. Save Questions

   • Click Save when all questions are complete.

   • Your questions will now appear in the Artifact Details section during the RDMC creation wizard.
