Introduction

The Research Data Management Container (RDMC) is an infrastructural platform for research data and software management (RDSM). It is a unique and essential tool developed within the National Research Data Infrastructure for and with Computer Science (NFDIxCS), one of the consortia under the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) initiative.

A key aspect of the RDMC is its ability to encapsulate connected research artifact and data into a packaged object format. This encapsulated package provides reusable execution environments, ensuring the long-term preservation and sustainable usability of research outputs. Additionally, it facilitates the integration of diverse research data types, metadata, and quality criteria.

The RDMC is released in different versions. This version represents the Version 0.2.0 release of the RDMC prototype. This work is licensed under the [MIT License].
